Dr. Chwajol obtained Bachelor of Science degree in Neurosciences from Columbia University in New York and continued his medical training at the SUNY Downstate College of Medicine where he received his M.D. degree. Dr. Chwajol elected to stay in New York and undertook a 7-year long residency training in neurosurgery at the Montefiore Medical Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. After graduation he completed a Fellowship in Cerebrovascular and Skull Base Surgery with Drs. Charbel and Amin-Hanjani at the Department of Neurosurgery of the University of Illinois in Chicago, where he later assumed the position of an Assistant Professor and attending neurosurgeon.
Chwajol is a neurosurgeon certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and practices general neurosurgery at the University of Illinois, and the affiliated Mount Sinai Medical Center.
